Compared to the characteristic almond-shaped Kalamata olives, Amfissa olives are more round with meaty, soft flesh, and a mellow flavour that is mildly sweet. These dark Amfissa olives are hand picked with great care. They are selected, washed and placed in saline water in closed containers over a couple of months.


These olives are excellent in a greek salad replacing the more traditional Kalamata olives, can be consumed on their own as a snack or accompanying a drink and they are also ideal in cooking as their flesh is easily separated from the pit. Try them in a tomato pasta sauce or as a pizza topping.
