The black butter beans can be used exactly the same way as the white butter beans. For example they can be used to make the traditional Greek dish; Gigantes; oven baked beans in tomato sauce.


They are low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium. They are a good source of fiber, protein, folate, iron, magnesium and potassium, and a very good source of manganese.
